Thank you for helping us shape the next version of AirTrack — the app designed to help people understand and reduce their exposure to air pollution.
Our Beta Community is a small, invite-only WhatsApp group for early adopters to test new features, share ideas, and ask questions directly to our team, including Dr Will Hicks, Chief Scientific Officer.
By joining the WhatsApp group, you agree to the following simple terms.
Purpose of the Beta Community
The group exists to:
- Give early access to experimental AirTrack features.
- Gather honest feedback to improve the product.
- Share learning about air quality, behaviour change, and exposure reduction.
- Create a friendly space to connect with others interested in air quality and wellbeing.
Participation is voluntary — you can leave at any time, no hard feelings.
What we collect and how we use it
To join, we’ll need your mobile number to add you to the private WhatsApp group.
WhatsApp will display your name, profile photo, and any messages you choose to share in the group.
We use this information only to:
- Communicate with you about beta features and feedback.
- Understand how users experience AirTrack.
- Summarise feedback anonymously to inform product design and research.
We will not share your personal details or phone number outside the AirTrack team.
You can leave the group or ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing support@airawarelabs.com
All data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection laws (GDPR).
Privacy and confidentiality
- WhatsApp messages are encrypted end-to-end.
- Please avoid sharing personal or sensitive health information.
- Respect that others in the group may share personal experiences — treat these as confidential.
- Don’t copy, forward, or screenshot messages or media shared in the group without permission.
Code of Conduct
We want the community to be safe, respectful, and constructive.
By taking part, you agree to the following:
Be respectful
- Treat everyone with kindness, curiosity, and respect.
- Debate ideas, not people.
- Assume good intent, even when you disagree.
Be relevant
- Keep conversations related to AirTrack, air quality, health, and app feedback.
- Avoid off-topic messages, spam, or self-promotion.
Protect privacy
- Don’t share anyone’s personal information or screenshots without consent.
- Report any breach or unsafe behaviour to support@airawarelabs.com immediately.
No harmful content
- No hate speech, discrimination, or harassment.
- No sharing of misinformation, medical claims, or promotional content.
- No medical advice — AirTrack discussions are for educational and product-feedback purposes only.
Be constructive
- Share feedback that helps us learn and improve.
- Remember: all beta features are experimental and may change or break — that’s part of the process!
Enforcement
If someone breaches these rules, we may:
- Send a private reminder,
- Mute or remove them from the group, and
- Exclude them from future testing programmes.
We reserve the right to take these steps to keep the community positive and safe for everyone.
Safeguarding and wellbeing
We aim to create a supportive, inclusive community.
If anything in the group makes you feel uncomfortable, please contact us privately at support@airawarelabs.com — we take all concerns seriously.
If you share something that suggests you’re at risk, we may reach out privately and, if necessary, guide you towards professional support.
Beta participation disclaimer
- Features shared here are in development and may contain bugs or inaccuracies.
- Please don’t share screenshots or builds publicly.
- Participation is at your own discretion — we value your patience and input.
Leaving or opting out
You can leave the WhatsApp group at any time.
If you’d like your messages and data deleted, email us at support@airawarelabs.com
Leaving the beta won’t affect your normal AirTrack account or app use.
