Air Aware Labs reflects on the year

Welcome to the fifty-first edition of our newsletter, as we are named Tech Trailblazers, enhance our AI models and report on our findings about air pollution exposure! This newsletter is aimed at investors, collaborators, future hires and early adopters of our products.
This week we launched our first ever Annual Report. This found that 41% of nitrogen dioxide readings and 20% of fine particulate matter readings for our AirTrackers around the globe exceeded World Health Organisation guidelines. Exposure was driven by both steady background pollution, and also short, intense episodes, influenced by route choice, transport mode and timing. The data also revealed that Daily Heart Rate Variability, a marker linked to recovery and resilience, showed a moderate, statistically significant association with air quality. To gain more such insights, please join us on our mission - Personalising Air Quality, for everyone.
